Well, if I really have to write a little paragraph about The Beatles, then I think there is a problem somewhere, because everybody in this entire freaking world essentially knows everything there is to know about this band. ... Well, on second thought, I recently met somebody who admitted that he never heard of "Hey Jude," so maybe I should write something about The Beatles.

Forming in 1960, The Beatles started off giving concerts to various different types of insects and rodents in nightclubs in Germany. Around 1963, The Beatles dumped their drummer (whose name was Pete Best) for someone even better: Ringo (whose name rhymes with "Dingo"). And so! The classicness of the Beatles were finally ready to start cutting singles and albums and becoming the central figures of much underwear shedding among teenaged girls. (Alas, a day doesn't go by when I don't wish that I was a Beatle.)

The Beatles essentially have two periods. The first is usually called "The Early Period" and the second is usually given the unexpected name of "The Later Period." The Beatles started as the most enjoyable and brilliant band to ever bust onto the rock-and-roll scene, and they ended up being more enjoyable and brilliant than most any other band that came after. Indeed, The Beatles are well known and underwear-sheddingly popular for a danged good reason! (I shedded my underwear in front of a picture of George Harrison once ... for real! That's Beatle-power.) Unfortunately, though, sometime around 1969, The Beatles were having power-struggles, and the group ended up splitting into four independent nations.

Oh yeah! There were people in this band! John Lennon was one of the main guys, and he played the rhythm guitar ... and he also protested a lot. Paul McCartney was the other main guy, and he was the dude normally on the bass (fish). George Harrison wasn't really in the band, but he's credited on the albums anyway, so he's worth a slight mention. And underwear shedding mention. Lastly, there's the runt. Ringo Starr. He played drums. DRUMS. And he wrote "Octopus's Garden." You've got to admire that.

You'll also note that The Beatles are by far the most highly-rated artist on the website. They are one of VERY FEW bands who have received a 10 for one of their albums ... and they've managed to achieve that feat more than once. And, I'm sure all they are extremely proud to see that their albums come so highly recommended on "Don Ignacio's Music Reviews." Their lives now suddenly feel complete, and I think they might be ready for a reunion now!

Oh wait, I forgot. John Lennon was assassinated by the Pope in 1980, and George Harrison died of brain cancer in 2002. So there probably won't be a reunion no matter how much I say that I approve of their albums. That leaves only two guys alive now: Paul McCartney and Ringo "Dingo." Don't worry, though. They will die pretty soon.

Dost thou havest any comments about this band? Leave them here.
