General comments

Now there is a place where all the comments that don't necessarily belong on an album/artist page can sit. And the whole world rejoiced.

Don Ignacio responds: I'm definitely going to re-do the Barry White reviews and then after that I'm thinking I'll start an Al Green page... as well as eventually finishing the Stevie Wonder and EW&F pages... sometime...

Lots of rock album review sites out there, but this seems to be the only one that touches Joan Baez! (heehee) You should review her first album, it's awesome. Especially "Fare Thee Well" and "Donna Donna." (So sad, but her melancholy is sincere.) "Silver Dagger" and "East Virginia" sound like the same song... should have just been one long with a drum solo in the middle... eh>?

How come you waste time listening and reviewing and re-reviewing almost the entire discographies of artists you go out of your way to dislike like Madonna and Cyndi Lauper, instead of reviewing more albums by artists you do like, like Pink Floyd, T-Rex, Joni Mitchell, Brian Eno, etc.????

I grew up in the 70's 80's. Those songs from band on the run and wings at the speed of sound keep running trough my mind because someone broke into my house ans stole all my old albumn masterpieces and collectors items. What albumn did "Take me back to juniors farm" come from. The rest I have got info from your website. But wasnt that McCartney or did Rigo or somebody do it? i dont think so.

Hey dude! I really do enjoy reading your reviews. Especially as you seem to like David Bowie as much as I do :) However I have a few issues with how you review things. You seem to quite often say something like "This song/album isn't that good, especially compared to the rest. But I guess it's still ok" or viser versa; but you'll still give it something like 8/10. So I sometimes find that your rating system is a little off from how your comments reflect your feelings about the said album/song. I found this with the review of the first ( and only at time of writing ) Metallica album you reviewed. I dont own the album, so I'm not disagreeing with your positive and/or negative comments. You said something like "I just don't really like this album. Sorry" or something to that effect. Yet, you still awarded it 7.5/10.... In my book that's a darn good score my man. Anyway. Sorry for being so negative. Your reviews are a dozen times more enjoyable to read than most online reviews. So keep up your good work. Take Care man. P.S try if you will reviewing some stuff by "The Cure"; "The Smiths" and "Placebo".

Don Ignacio responds: I am still seriously considering changing my rating system. But for now, consider a score of an 8.0 to be a B- and a 7.5 to be the benchmark average.

you seriously NEED to get elton's live album 11/17/70. as much as you already love some of his studio albums, elton's live energy at his peak will completely blow your mind

Now that most of my favorite music review sites are no longer being updated, I went in search of quality music criticism to get my fix, and I discovered your site. Congratulations! Yours is my #2 music review site that has been updated within the last two months (Prindle's #1 all-time, though; tough break). Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I really dig your site, and the movie reviews are a nice touch (although I must protest at Aguirre receiving a rating of "A" - it's an "A+" or it's nothing).

Are you ever going to review Annie Lennox's albums? Because you said you loved her voice in your Eurythmics reviews. Or what about the Eurythmics last two albums?

Don Ignacio responds: Eventually. :O)

Dude, great reviews. Get around to reviewing the Police sometime soon though! Especially since they've gotten back together.

Don Ignacio Responds: I'll probably start a Police page sometime soon. Maybe by the middle or end of the summer...
