So, you want to leave Don Ignacio's Music Reviews ... I see how it is.

Daniel Kemp's Music Reviews

He is just starting his Web site, but it's an extremely PROMISING start. Not a whole lot of reviews so far, but they're interesting and well-written. I'll definitely be watching this site develop! (He is currently reviewing the official list of the 1001 albums that you're supposed to hear before you die. Let us hope that he succeeds!)

Scott's Rock and Soul Album Reviews

This is another one of the largest sites of this kind, and another one of my personal favorites. His reviews tend to be relatively brief, but more helpful and straight-laced than other reviewers tend to be. This site is updated on a regular basis, and I visit it often. (I have most of these sites bookmarked on my browser, by the way!!)

John McFerrin's Rock and Prog Reviews

This is one of the Web sites that I tend to visit quite a lot! As you can tell from the title, this guy's specialty is prog, and he genuinely seems to like it! (Well, he likes Yes a crapload more than I do.)

Adrian's Album Reviews

Adrian Denning is awesome. I have much of my site traffic thanks to his link page! (It's been running about 15 percent lately ... sweet!) Oh, but he has one of the largest review sites of this kind on the 'net. His style is cool, conversational and enjoyable to read. I visit this site almost daily.

Mark's Record Reviews

Mark Prindle is the granddaddy of us all. I was a dorky kid in middle school when he started his Web site. He's also by far the funniest reviewer on the Web. The drawback that he's frequently offensive, but it's all in good fun, right?

Brad's Completely Useless Record Reviews

He's my favorite writer of the Web reviewing community, and he still updates rather frequently. His site has much more modern types of bands than mine, and so this is especially recommendable for those who want me to visit the 21st Century once in awhile.

TAD's Weird Ass Music and Books

There's a lot of really, really, really good diversity on this site including the Partridge Family, Rare Bird, Rare Earth, and Manfred Mann's Earth Band! (And a bunch of other bands that don't fit that thread.) ...I don't understand the strange writing style, though. (I guess I'm old school!)

Only Solitaire

This is the site that inspired me to start a site of my own! Unfortunately, it has been very very long since he updated his regular site last, but he's been doing brief reviews of old blues songs, if you're into that sort of thing.

Sick Boy's Bastard Reviews Site

A review site in Italian! It's unfortunate that I don't speak the language. He covers many bands including The Starlight Mints!! I love that band!

CapnMarvel's Rock Album Review Bonanza

This site is either dead or in an incredibly long hiatus. Well, CapnMarvel is an excellent and very funny writer, and everybody should look through the reviews that he has already written.

Obscurity!

Just like the title suggests, this guy reviews some of the most obscure bands ever! ... OK, I covered Arabesque, but he covers some obscure bands that you might actually like.

Fyfeopedia Music Reviews

His Web site has my favorite lay-out of all the WRC (although, I liked it better when the site was blue ... it's difficult to see some of the words in the new format). This site is constantly being updated, and he reviews MANY albums.

Jack Feeny's CD archive

I should visit this site more often. His reviews are informed and extremely well written. There are a lot of bands covered on this site!

Guy's Music Reviews

He's a really excellent writer, and he reviews a lot of obscure bands (he reviewed The Shaggs!!!) The Web design looks professional, which immediately makes it stand out above the rest. His excellent and professional writing also puts everyone to shame. Yes, I suck.

Disclaimer Music Review Archives

I don't believe this is an official WRC site, but I don't know why it isn't. There's quite a lot of stuff covered here, and it still gets regular updates! I like the cartoon character.

The All-Music Guide

The all-purpose music guide. Don't listen to their reviewers, though. They're craaaaaaaazy!!!!!

Other sites Don Ignacio visits quite frequently

Midi Contest

This is the Web site I submit my midi compositions, too. The site has so many features that you won't believe it at first... I've been an active member for almost a year now, and I'm still discovering new things. Anyway, midi composers should check this awesome place out. (If you want to hear my horribly weak voice, you can hear it on the conferences section ... I wasn't present during all of them, though!)

The Official Website of Eric D. Snider

A movie critic based in Oregon. He's my favorite movie critic out there (especially since Roger Ebert has been out of commission for awhile). He's a huge Will Ferrell fan, which means that we have similar tastes. He actually gets paid for the reviews he writes, and he deserves it. I'll never get sick of his very humorous and well-written reviews. I love reading his blog, too.

Homestar Runner

If you can appreciate a goofy sense of humor and you have a pretty fast Internet connection, then you simply must find the time to visit this site. Bar none, this site has the corner marketed on the Internet Toons. The creators also update it like mad, so the fun will never end!

ABCtales

This is the online community where I hung out and submitted short stories to principally in the years of 2001 and 2002. I'm still visit occasionally. If you want to publish short stories online, this is the best place on the 'net to do it.
