Cruising With Ruben and the Jets (1968)Frank Zappa loses me here! What's with that? I'm always able to appreciate his weird artistic stuff, and then he does this album full of half-hearted do-wop songs. And why? ... You don't have to make a point to *me* dang you. Never mind I didn't exist in 1968. Overall Album Score: 7.6 out of 10 Average Song Score: 7.8

Of course, as being the Zappa freak that I am, I love everything that he recorded.... But believe me, ALL those albums above ARE essential, even if u ain´t a Zappa fanatic, ur gonna love all of them, really. Each one have a different style. And there´s also Francesco Zappa (works of classical stuff), Orchestral Favorites (orchestrated versions of some songs), and 200 Motels (a orchestrated movie, with some "normal" songs on it, with Ringo Starr, Keith Moon, on the movie.... yeah, it´s a movie soundtrack) Anyway, congrats again! And thanx for listening to me, I have 1000 albums, I´m a classic rock freak since my 10 years old, so if u wanna ask something, or just talk about how much THAT album is excellent, or THIS album is annoying, just email me, ok? I´m still trying to build a reviewing site too, but I don´t know much stuff bout computer stuff like that.... |
