WICHITA STATE UNIVERSITY BEAT TENNESSEE IN NCAA BASKETBALL!!!!! WHOOOOOOMPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, I'm in the middle of Spring Break right now. Since I don't have family in Wichita anymore and I don't have any friends to speak of, I'm planning on sitting here until Friday (when I drive off to little town, Kansas) and writing reviews and stuff. I also REALLY want to finally get the movie capsule reviews going. However, I lost a bunch of my rewrites when I stupidly didn't save them when I erased my harddrive. *STUPID!!!!* Oh well. It really wasn't that much I didn't upload anyway!
Hopefully there'll be another update soon.
Cheerio,

FINALLYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! I'm updating some of these reviews (which actually were written back in September) and I'm listening on some new stuff to review. (Umm... the new Madonna album right now ... uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.) I think I'll also upload the Kate Bush reviews I wrote late last year. (I was writing secret reviews ... I'm sorry, I won't do that again.)

Tacky Tigers update!
Last December I discovered a synthesizer mixing program (that was totally freeware) that lets me turn my midi files into CD-quality songs. Anyway, I have some new songs up. They're not perfect or probably even good (it's hard to be objective when it comes to this sort of thing), but they're mine.
http://donignacio.com/tacky tigers/tackytigers.html.
I'm still getting up all the capsule film reviews. Hopefully that'll be completed soon and ... I think I'm feeling up to uploading some actual music reviews sometime. I've turned into a big Kate Bush fan since I uploaded music reviews last, so you may be seeing some of those sometime.
No promises, though.

Whoah, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and all that. It's been awhile since my last update, and ... well ... so sorry! I also hate to say it, but I've been writing secret reviews in a different format. One day I'll probably edit them and transfer them onto here.
Anyway, I'm updating to tell you that my old plan of uploading my movie review site on here (where there are no pop-up ads) is underway. If you would like to check it out, it's at http://movies.donignacio.com.
Talk to you later!

HAH! ... I bet you thought I wouldn't update again until November! But you were much mistaken! And I've been reviewing quite a bit, too! (Boo yah!) ... And ... um ... that's all.
I have a pretty nasty geology test coming up ... the material isn't too difficult, but we have to write down sources for our test answers (without notes) and ... yeah ... I have a lot of papers to read! I was trudging through them while reviewing a Styx album, actually! (Ew.)
Anyway, hopefully there will be another update ... soon ...
Well, actually, that's kinda questionable ... my computer is being really really really really crappy to me lately. It took about 15 tries before it would properly start this morning! ... It won't even recognize the system recovery disk anymore (I was gunna try to re-format the thing, but ... I guess not). It's high time for me to get a new computer anyway!
(To the guy who e-mailed me about Queen, if you're actually going to read this, I sent responses to your letters, but they bounced back. Anyway, thanks and I made that change.)

Hah! ... I bet you never heard of the Tacky Tigers! ... And, lucky me, I'm
the first person EVER to hear the songs that this band wrote! ... It's my
honest opinion that they are going to be considered one of the most ground-breaking and popular groups of all time ... (and will probably inspire many teenage girls to shed their underwear).
... Okay, I'm bull-crapping you ... again ... The "Tacky Tigers" is actually the name of *my* band ... that's not really even a band. These are just Midi compositions I wrote on my computer. ... So ... um ...
Anyway, I dedicate that Web page to the multiple irate people who keep on e-mailing me saying something along the lines of: "You shouldn't talk, because you can't do any better." ... Well ... now you'll have your chance to prove that statement ............. (Uh, oh.)
Well, I figured I ought to publically upload those things. They're not doing a *whole* lot of good sitting idly on my harddrive. ... Some of them were written kind of recently (early this month). Others date back to high school. Anyway, there's that ...

Hello, peeeplessssss... It's a pretty good update today as far as quality-albums are concerned. When I reviewed this stretch, I remember being rather happy and writing these reviews with SPUNK! No wonder! They were all fantastic! ... A couple days ago, I reviewed Mae's The Everglow, and ... ohhh ... I wasn't happy whatsoever. The class I'm taking has gotten harder. I expected it to, but ... I have to study hard for it now ... ooohhhhh ...
There'll probably be another update soon. I wrote my 500th review this morning! (Woot!)

Oh man, am I tired!!!! A really weird thing happened to me. About two hours after I finished reviewing The Band's Northern Lights, Southern Cross Rhapsody took the album off the server! Is that good timing or what? ... Anyway, they also took their Islands off (and they never did have a complete version of Moondog Matinee. So ... that might be the last you'll be seeing of The Band for awhile ... I don't want to *buy* those albums!!!!
Well, I'm still working. Still reviewing. I took the easiest test I've taken in centuries today. ... I'd get at least a C if I didn't even show up for the lectures or studied! ... I freaking missed classes like this ...

Bwah hah hah!!!!
About Metallica for a moment. I don't have access to their albums anymore. I was going to review the whole slew of 'em when Rhapsody added their discography to their service, but ... they were all removed. ... I noticed that Metallica shows up on their service every once in awhile, so I'll have to have a keen eye the next time it happens ... I'll have a Metallica reviewing extravaganza that day!!! WOoooOOoooo!!! I'm already anticipating the headache I'll get! I did, however, listen to Ride the Lightning, preparing to write the review, and I'm pretty sure that it'd score in the 8.5-range. So ... Metallica is decidedly not a band that I would trash ... thought you'd might like to know.
And, everything's going fiiiiine. I'm going to that Dears concert tomorrow night. ... It might have been nice to review their album before going, but ... I procrastinated too much.

Whew! Well, I'm back from my trip to Michigan and Chicago (I went to a wedding and visited my grandparents). And now ... I'm back ... and ... I'm reviewing! I can't promise how busy I'm going to be with reviewing at the moment. I haven't been reviewing too much this far because dang college burnt me out! But ... I think I can be more active than I have been ... definitely.
I've been working a lot on my book lately, and I've been reading a lot of novels. (I read about two and a half within the past two weeks ... and none of them are exactly short, albeit they were all easy reads. Oh, there was Harry Potter 4, Timeline by Michael Crichton, and I'm in the middle of Mattimeo by Brian Jacques. I'm going to try to read a lot this summer, just because it helps me write novel-style more efficiently ...)
Until whenever I update next,

Bwahhahhahhahhah!!!!
Felilililililililillilil!!!!!
Bululullulululululululuuu!!!!!
Most of my school stuff is done for the semester!!! All I have left are two more finals; one of which I'm more or less worried about. (The other one is physics ... I would be worried about it, but he said he wouldn't let it count against us ... so ... naturally, I'm not going to spend a whole lot of time studying for it.)
The bad news is that I'm going to have to move by myself somewhere, because my parents are moving! (...Yeah, I live with my parents... Couldn't you tell?) Not that I'm necessarily worried about that, but if I'm going to keep this whole Web reviewing thing up, I'm going to have to afford high speed Internet! I don't think that'll be a problem, though. I think it's $30 a month ... or maybe even less for a cheapish version.
So, anyway, I hope I can do a super-great job reviewing albums this summer. ... I'm taking a couple classes, so I'd imagine that I'll be reviewing albums instead of studying! ... That's how this usually works, anyway...

Sarah McLachlan Live in Kansas City review

Yeah! Well! I haven't been working on this site much AT ALL this semester (if you didn't notice that), but at least I went to a concert! Yeah! It was a Sarah McLachlan concert, if you didn't figure that out by now.
I'm also planning on going to FOUR concerts pretty soon (and ... no ... one of them isn't Paul McCartney ... unfortunately ...). But they are The Dears early next month and Brian Wilson in late August. Also, I'll probably end up going to a ZZ Top concert and *bleeeech* Foreigner ... who are apparently going to be at the Kansas State Fair. So ... I'm sure you'll be looking forward to those babies...
This summer, I am planning on reviewing albums like a true banshee. ... Of course, I was planning on doing that during Christmas Break, too, but that didn't totally pan out. ... At any rate, there should be some solid updates to the site within a week ... I think ...

--February 20, 2005
Hello!! This site totally grew by 11.4 percent in terms of reviews with this update ... having calculated that, I'm sure, makes me seem like an even greater nerd than you probably already think I am ...
Anyway, I'm going to try and not ever do this again ... that queue 45 reviews long is just too much! ... It's been such a long time since I've written some of these that I totally forgot about the album since them ... I needed to read it again to get refreshed! Now that my queue is totally empty ... I'm going to have to start writing some more reviews!
Everything seems to be going fine in this ole life of mine. I'm still doing page designing stuff for the student newspaper. I'm not flunking any of my classes so far.
Hopefully, there will be another update soon! I'm bracing myself right now to review the next Journey album that I have to review. ... Oh! And I'll get to adding the site comments soon. (There are still even some from WAY BACK that I still have to add ... yikes ...)
